Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Juarês Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gugu de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Juvenal Corrêa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Juvenal Corrêa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Peixoto came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match Luca Espinar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Róbson Arósio skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Edu Saraiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Gugu de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juvenal Corrêa made a kick off. Juvenal Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. In the 52nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Edu Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute of the game José Maria Carioca made a throw-in which Juvenal Corrêa played forward. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbson Arósio having to interfere. After 66 played minutes ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ got a freekick which was hit by Edu Saraiva. Wesley Soeiro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Villa in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbson Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, Juvenal Corrêa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 0-2. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Duda Peixoto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Peixoto came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Róbson Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 87th minute of play. Róbson Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
