Matías Molina took the corner. Centenario Bohemio's Matías Donato was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Berterame in the 9th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Berterame in the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Centenario Bohemio's Mauro Fontanini made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of play forced Centenario Bohemio's goalkeeper Andres Tavio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Horacio Bernaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Horacio Bernaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 minutes, Mauro Fontanini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Centenario Bohemio and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Centenario Bohemio's Mauro Fontanini got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Andres Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. After 42 minutes of play, Centenario Bohemio's Gonzalo Berterame made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Venezuela booed when Centenario Bohemio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Maju didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Centenario Bohemio's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gonzalo Berterame, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Centenario Bohemio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Centenario Bohemio made a substitution. Luís Eduardo López replaced Matías Donato. In the 75th minute, Luís Eduardo López left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Centenario Bohemio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Centenario Bohemio's Andres Tavio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Centenario Bohemio from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Fontanini, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafino Nisio during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Centenario Bohemio were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
