With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Benedykt Lanczak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Bradley made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Ahmet Hamdi Baran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 18th minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Onur-Recep Kıvrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Onur-Recep Kıvrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Lanczak in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedykt Lanczak got free with Marco Day in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Edward Mcdonald sped through Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Onur-Recep Kıvrak. Raphael Moore made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Ahmet Hamdi Baran. Onur-Recep Kıvrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Lanczak in the 46th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Deng Jie Wei was substituted for Benedykt Lanczak. In the 75th minute, Deng Jie Wei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. 78 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deng Jie Wei in the 80th minute of the match. With his leg Onur-Recep Kıvrak managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when USA's Sam Campbell fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Sam Campbell put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Onur-Recep Kıvrak. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Hamdi Baran in the 88th minute. The corner led Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Deng Jie Wei to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Deng Jie Wei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Deng Jie Wei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
