In the 18thth minute of the game Cassius Byrne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Uriel Lano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Bartoli in the 21st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bonifacio Bartoli in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Uriel Lano made a huge save. The supporters of USA booed when CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Txurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's Uriel Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 62nd minute of play. After 97 minutes CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jenson Smith who took care of the corner kick. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 throughout the match.
