Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The supporters of El ultimo booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abram Secadas short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Vladimiro Socorro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eliseo Bernabel hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute Bernabe Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El ultimo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
