Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Werner Colvin in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Chuquisaca's Xesus Abarca got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Werner Colvin in the 16th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Mruk in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arnulfo Ebardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Chuquisaca's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Chuquisaca's Arnulfo Ebardo to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Werner Colvin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Werner Colvin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Soroka in the 23rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 赵风青 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 赵风青 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 36th minute of the match. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anier Maidana in the 37 minute of the game. The supporters of Colombia booed when Chuquisaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fraco Abel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Werner Colvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Axel Montenegro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. In the 66th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Chuquisaca were awarded a corner. Arnulfo Ebardo went to the cornerflag to take it. 71 minutes into the match, Chuquisaca's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but 赵风青 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Werner Colvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Pascual Carballar got a throw-in 76 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abram Secada. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Anier Maidana made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. In the 81st match minute, Chuquisaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Soroka to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Werner Colvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Chuquisaca's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but 赵风青 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the game, Werner Colvin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Werner Colvin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When Colombia's Ignacio Mastache in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chuquisaca's goalie prevented a goal. The Colombia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chuquisaca's performance. The match ended with a win for Chuquisaca.
