Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Bernard Czerny started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Nahia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernard Czerny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The supporters of Hombres de Negro booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Nahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of play. Jonatan Nahia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Hombres de Negro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hombres de Negro's Jonatan Nahia did a great save. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonatan Nahia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 27 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonatan Nahia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 32 minutes into the game, Kaido Onnu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hombres de Negro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 35 played minutes Hombres de Negro got a freekick which was hit by Celso Hernandez. Celso Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bernard Czerny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Mikel Oyarzabal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute Inocencio Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonatan Nahia. Jonatan Nahia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 70th match minute, Hombres de Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rio Ferdinand to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Rio Ferdinand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marco Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Mendez in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Hombres de Negro's goalkeeper Jonatan Nahia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Montrel in the 88th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Mendez, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Hombres de Negro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
