The Last Try
Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, El ultimo's Vasile Pisculescu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 5th minute, Ramon Ignatius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimiro Socorro. Vladimiro Socorro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 11th minute of play forced El ultimo's goalkeeper Vladimiro Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasile Pisculescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 21 minutes into the game, El ultimo's Ramon Ignatius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. El ultimo's Vladimiro Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 34th minute of play. Vladimiro Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 42nd minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Ignatius in the 44th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramon Ignatius made a kick off. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Ignatius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Talha Ekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Luis Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Abram Sarmiento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vladimiro Socorro. That made the score 3-2 in the 65 minute of play. El ultimo's Felipe Venceslas was substituted for Serafino Ignazio. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. After 69 played minutes El ultimo got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Bernabel. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Vladimiro Socorro in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Secada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Socorro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. El ultimo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Abram Secada scored to the left of an out of position Vladimiro Socorro, making the score, 3-3. In the 90th minute, Felipe Venceslas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
