Recep Talha Kutyan was slow to take the kick. During this time The Owls's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Recep Talha Kutyan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. A.J. Bufi lost his temper 6 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 5 minutes into the game, one of The Owls:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Galante in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Recep Talha Kutyan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Recep Talha Kutyan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gino Galante took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gino Galante in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, The Owls's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Jan-Åke Emander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Galante scored 1-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gino Galante struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Owls. Ubarna Harroyo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubarna Harroyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes The Owls got a freekick which was hit by Ubarna Harroyo. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan-Åke Emander. That made the score 2-2 in the 33 minute of play. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Åke Emander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after The Owls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. At last the ball reached Kevin Mastache at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of The Owls. 3-2. Jan-Åke Emander came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Jan-Åke Emander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 46th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Galante came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gino Galante was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, The Owls's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Jan-Åke Emander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Creemers scored 4-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th match minute, The Owls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubarna Harroyo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 72 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colombia's Santino Seco managed to work through The Owls's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Santino Seco dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 76th minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Emander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Recep Talha Kutyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gino Galante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Åke Emander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 87th minute of play forced The Owls's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Recep Talha Kutyan in the 88th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When The Owls's Recep Talha Kutyan in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. Jan-Åke Emander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Colombia had won after a very even match.
