Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Tytus Jaszcz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Tytus Jaszcz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Tytus Jaszcz took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Joaquin Gayoso to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Metapalo FC booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Metapalo FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
