Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Renán Rocafort tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Edorta came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 minutes, Fidel Martínez made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fidel Martínez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After 12 minutes of play, INGOBERNABLE F.C's Fidel Martínez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Fidel Martínez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Armando Sando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Armando Sando scored 0-6 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. The supporters of INGOBERNABLE F.C booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Sando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon van Persie, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When INGOBERNABLE F.C's Fidel Martínez in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. After 37 minutes of play, INGOBERNABLE F.C's Leon van Persie made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Leon van Persie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Leon van Persie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Fidel Martínez sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Martínez in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Fidel Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Leon van Persie made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. INGOBERNABLE F.C were winning 0-10.

55 minutes into the match, INGOBERNABLE F.C's Pastor Edorta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Martínez in the 57th minute of the match. Leon van Persie took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. INGOBERNABLE F.C's Luis Tximitx was substituted for Rosero Rioja. Leon van Persie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Leon van Persie let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 69th minute shot 0-13 at rihgt post. 74 minutes into the game, INGOBERNABLE F.C's Leon van Persie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. INGOBERNABLE F.C's Martin Retana was substituted for Leon van Persie. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th play minute Martin Retana came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 0-15. After having played for 85 minutes, Pastor Edorta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INGOBERNABLE F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Edorta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Retana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over INGOBERNABLE F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
