Vivaldo Belém took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Pedroso having to interfere. If Jerónimo Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Jerónimo Leiria scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vivaldo Belém in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Vivaldo Belém got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 41st minute, Vivaldo Belém ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Miguel Pedroso firmly grabbed it by the left post. 56 minutes into the game, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Jerónimo Leiria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Belém, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 66th match minute, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berto Guine to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Jerónimo Leiria made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Leiria in the 72nd minute of play. Albertus Guine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 93rd minute, Vivaldo Belém got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Belém in the 94th minute of play. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's attack was well implemented in the 97th minute, but when Albertus Guine was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over.
