The audience thought a goal was coming when Desislav Sergeev got free with Julio Vera in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner ended in Wang Chen Hong almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Du Jie Ran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Du Jie Ran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lin Yu Hai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lin Yu Hai during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Lin Yu Hai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qian Lin Yu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save.
54 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Du Jie Ran. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Du Jie Ran however easily saved by the left post. HALO HANGZHOU's Lin Yu Hai got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Bo-Erik McNamara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bo-Erik McNamara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Bo-Erik McNamara put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. The supporters of Ecuador booed when HALO HANGZHOU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qian Lin Yu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Du Jie Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 74th minute of play. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Du Jie Ran could save by the left post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 79th minute. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Du Jie Ran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik McNamara came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, HALO HANGZHOU's Du Jie Ran got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line.
