In the 19thth minute of the game Louison Gaulier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the LE TALADRO F.C defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lilian Montane. The LE TALADRO F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lilian Montane should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the LE TALADRO F.C defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lilian Montane. The LE TALADRO F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lilian Montane should have stopped the shot. After 57 minutes, Joel Gaona made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lilian Montane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 71st match minute, LE TALADRO F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Cyrille Mbaegbu to maneuver through the defense. LE TALADRO F.C's Alexandre Grave was substituted for Stanislas Ripoll. LE TALADRO F.C's Zula Bronder was substituted for Louison Gaulier. The supporters of Mexico booed when LE TALADRO F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Cyrille Mbaegbu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mexico had won after a very even match.
