The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lilian Montane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Louison Gaulier managed to get in a good position for a shot. LE TALADRO F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Louison Gaulier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Courrier kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Louison Gaulier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 19 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's attentive Jose Correa managed to snatch the ball when Jean-Cyrille Mbaegbu made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. If Louison Gaulier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LE TALADRO F.C's Claude Arrault quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 35th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Louison Gaulier notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when LE TALADRO F.C's Louison Gaulier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Louison Gaulier made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by LE TALADRO F.C's Louison Gaulier. But to his dismay, Louison Gaulier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a LE TALADRO F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 58th minute. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louison Gaulier in the 64th minute of play. Edmund Pieprz's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmund Pieprz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LE TALADRO F.C getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Edmund Pieprz hit a great ball. LE TALADRO F.C's Steevy Ferlay was substituted for Jean-Cyrille Mbaegbu. In the 67th minute, Edmund Pieprz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Bronder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmund Pieprz kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. LE TALADRO F.C made a substitution. Alexandre Grave replaced Stanislas Ripoll. In the 77th minute, Edmund Pieprz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steevy Ferlay in the 81st minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Zula Bronder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Bronder, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th match minute, LE TALADRO F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Courrier to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LE TALADRO F.C fully deserved thier win.
