Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodas Lamadrid got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodas Lamadrid got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Chucho Muñoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Santisteban made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rodas Lamadrid. A collision led to Loja S.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rodrigo Berastegui hit a great ball. Chucho Muñoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Texeira Noceda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Loja S.C. defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chucho Muñoa. The Loja S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chucho Muñoa should have stopped the shot. Chucho Muñoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of the match. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 31 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Chucho Muñoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Texeira Noceda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chucho Muñoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chucho Muñoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Chucho Muñoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Loja S.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-2.

In the 52nd minute, Julian Santisteban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Chucho Muñoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Tomas Illescas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Julian Santisteban kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Chucho Muñoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. The Loja S.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venezuela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
