A hard shot 6 in the game by Louison Gaulier from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 7th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louison Gaulier, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 13th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Duarte in the 14th minute of play. Louison Gaulier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Thomas Courrier kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilian Montane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lilian Montane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louison Gaulier in the 23rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislas Ripoll hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilian Montane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louison Gaulier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Lilian Montane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lilian Montane was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lilian Montane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilles Morisson in the 40th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louison Gaulier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Lilian Montane skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, LE TALADRO F.C's Lilian Montane got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Lilian Montane in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th match minute, LE TALADRO F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendan Saint-Germain to maneuver through the defense. LE TALADRO F.C's Zula Bronder was substituted for Louison Gaulier. In the 68th minute, Brendan Saint-Germain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When LE TALADRO F.C's Zula Bronder in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. LE TALADRO F.C's Alexandre Grave was substituted for Stanislas Ripoll. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LE TALADRO F.C! If Gilles Morisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lilian Montane made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Lilian Montane managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lilian Montane having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Lilian Montane in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zula Bronder in the 92nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zula Bronder came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the LE TALADRO F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zula Bronder couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zula Bronder in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
