Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Bergqvist got the match started through his kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute of the match Tigres Ñacuñán FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricardo Stephen ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Christian Bergqvist to score against Julio Vera in Ecuador's goal. 1-0 after 10 minutes. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Christian Bergqvist sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eloy Mazuste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Mazuste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Mariano Llorian got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper Eloy Mazuste, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play forced Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper Eloy Mazuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Christian Bergqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 2-1. 35 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Eloy Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Tigres Ñacuñán FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eloy Mazuste. The Tigres Ñacuñán FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Mazuste should have stopped the shot. Christian Bergqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute Tigres Ñacuñán FC were awarded a corner. Ricardo Stephen went to the cornerflag to take it. 55 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Mazuste. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Bergqvist in the 60th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Bergqvist in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Bergqvist in the 66th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eloy Mazuste. That made the score 3-4 after 72 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of play forced Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper Eloy Mazuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Pitin in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper Eloy Mazuste had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 88th minute Andres Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Eloy Mazuste proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Tigres Ñacuñán FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Alfonso Pere got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Mazuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
