Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Thanasis Papadimitriou. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonni Bynge, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play forced GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goalkeeper Thanasis Papadimitriou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolga Tara made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Francesco Batista immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gottfrid Kjellbom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Pliego. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Wilfredo Henríguez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 36th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thanasis Papadimitriou. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 42 minutes in the game Francesco Batista did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alberto Jaen. In the 43rd minute Gottfrid Kjellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tolga Tara hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

52 minutes into the match, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goalkeeper Thanasis Papadimitriou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Thanasis Papadimitriou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Thanasis Papadimitriou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 57th minute. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Thanasis Papadimitriou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. from getting a goal against them. After having played for 66 minutes, Guillermo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanasis Papadimitriou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 70th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thanasis Papadimitriou saved GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. from getting behind. After 72nd play minutes Mariano Lacasa shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Thanasis Papadimitriou and just under the crossbar into goal. Tolga Tara made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Francesco Batista. Thanasis Papadimitriou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Gottfrid Kjellbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Thanasis Papadimitriou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Chile could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. throughout the match.
