Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louison Gaulier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lilian Montane having to make a save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louison Gaulier in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lilian Montane was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louison Gaulier, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louison Gaulier in the 10th minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lilian Montane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in LE TALADRO F.C's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lilian Montane came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Thomas Courrier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Gilles Morisson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lilian Montane made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in LE TALADRO F.C's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lilian Montane came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When LE TALADRO F.C's Louison Gaulier in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louison Gaulier in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. With his leg Lilian Montane managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 38 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thomas Courrier charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Courrier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thomas Courrier hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes LE TALADRO F.C got a freekick which was hit by Brendan Saint-Germain. Lilian Montane made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Lilian Montane threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by LE TALADRO F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lilian Montane in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Louison Gaulier made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louison Gaulier during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, LE TALADRO F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louison Gaulier to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lilian Montane was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Louison Gaulier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Louison Gaulier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind LE TALADRO F.C's goalkeeper Lilian Montane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. LE TALADRO F.C's Steevy Ferlay was substituted for Jean-Cyrille Mbaegbu. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lilian Montane. Lilian Montane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 71 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. In the 72nd minute of the match Steevy Ferlay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute of play forced LE TALADRO F.C's goalkeeper Lilian Montane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to LE TALADRO F.C getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Claude Arrault hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lilian Montane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lilian Montane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 83rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lilian Montane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steevy Ferlay's shot from long distance in the 85th minute was not bad at all, but Ecuador's Julio Vera knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 86thth minute of the game Luis Andino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LE TALADRO F.C's Lilian Montane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Claude Arrault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zula Bronder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
