Bernard Kufner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlo Radonić in the 16th minute of the match. Bernard Kufner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes NK BRONZIN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in NK BRONZIN's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Kufner came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 28th minute of play forced NK BRONZIN's goalkeeper Bernard Kufner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bernard Kufner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Natko Gajski sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Kufner having to interfere. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Karlo Radonić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp made a kick off. When Jadranko Šrenger came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the NK BRONZIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jadranko Šrenger couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bernard Kufner could save by the left post. Karlo Radonić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp in the 66th minute of the match. Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. NK BRONZIN made a substitution. Jure Pantić replaced Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp. In the 74th minute Jure Pantić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Bernard Kufner made a huge save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlo Radonić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Jure Pantić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. NK BRONZIN were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Toni Gojak took the corner. The corner ended in Toni Gojak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. In the 80th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Kufner having to interfere. A collision led to NK BRONZIN getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fran Hunjadi hit a great ball. After 91 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toni Gojak who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Toni Gojak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. If Jure Pantić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
