Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Loja S.C.'s Felix Pascua got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Loja S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Gudesteo. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Gipils in the 8th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. Victor Peress short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Lautaro Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Caton having to interfere. Fabricio Vedeja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes in the game Pedro Gudesteo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Fabian Sala. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Sancho in the 35th minute of play forced Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Joel Caton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Felix Pascua dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro, 1-0. Edmundo Espiga kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Pascua in the 44th minute of play. If Fabricio Vedeja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Pascua made a kick off. Fabricio Vedeja took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Peres in the 56th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Pascua's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Gipils came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes, Felix Pascua made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Loja S.C. made a substitution. Luis-Antonio Barraza replaced Felix Pascua. After 70 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match.
