Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Moises Fernandino kicked off to start the match. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. Leif Browall made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FK Crvena Zvezda booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Yepes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erland Hagström struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Crvena Zvezda. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Leif Browall in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 15 in the game by Moises Fernandino from a close distance when the talented Leif Browall managed to make a qualified save. FK Crvena Zvezda's players were relieved. In the 17th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Malcolm Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Marcus Britz in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Salvador's Marco Tamayo. A collision led to FK Crvena Zvezda getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Malcolm Göransson hit a great ball. The supporters of El Salvador booed when FK Crvena Zvezda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Britz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Abram Luque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malcolm Göransson to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Erland Hagström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leif Browall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 61st minute of the match. Leif Browall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abram Luque went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malcolm Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Leif Browall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moises Fernandino went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Fernandino in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leif Browall saved FK Crvena Zvezda from getting behind. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Duset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. El Salvador were victorious despite being under pressure from FK Crvena Zvezda for much of the match.
