Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Suarez in the 3rd minute of play. Gordon Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Suarez in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Gordon Suarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gordon Suarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gordon Suarez went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Paulin Sequeiros made a huge save. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Suarez came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Gordon Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Vanadio F.C. booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manzanedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Gordon Suarez notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulin Sequeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 41st minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Gordon Suarez made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Gordon Suarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vanadio F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Paulin Sequeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Vanadio F.C. made a substitution. Leizarraga Olmedo replaced 邵飞思. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vanadio F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Chile's Xavier Figueroa to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulin Sequeiros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vanadio F.C.'s Bekir Çağan got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Vanadio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bekir Çağan to maneuver through the defense. Chile's Alan Tamayo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gaspar Rocio in the 71 minute of the game. In the 76th minute of the match Vanadio F.C. got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Giraldo Bermudez ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 78 minutes, Gordon Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vanadio F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gordon Suarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulin Sequeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vanadio F.C.'s Maxin Oces got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulin Sequeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa scored 2-4 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulin Sequeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vanadio F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
