Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Beugnet in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Equipo's attentive Sid Todd managed to snatch the ball when Diego Bradley made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. In the 44thth minute of the game Bruno Beugnet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Equipo's Unai Papachronopoulos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Diego Bradley, made in the 47th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Beugnet in the 48th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. USA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
