Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaspars Ketris. FC Riga's Saivis Kikals played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Saivis Kikals quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marin Ailenei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Marin Ailenei sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saivis Kikals was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saivis Kikals saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that FC Riga's Saivis Kikals managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play forced FC Riga's goalkeeper Saivis Kikals to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 27th minute. Voldemārs Cariņš's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saivis Kikals saved FC Riga from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, FC Riga's Marin Ailenei ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Marin Ailenei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Saivis Kikals didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Jimmy Svenningsted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saivis Kikals made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, FC Riga's goalkeeper Saivis Kikals had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita.
