Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Samuel Farmer took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 7th minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Marcus Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes Mayo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mayo's Marcus Deacon did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Marcus Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Farmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Oliver got free with Rolando Noboa in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mayo's Marcus Deacon. Marcus Deacon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus Deacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play. Amílton Siqueira got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by William Symons. Amílton Siqueira made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Johnnie Osbourn however managed to control. 28 minutes into the match, Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Marcus Deacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Steve Oliver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Mayo's Marcus Deacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 35th minute of play. Marcus Deacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play forced Mayo's goalkeeper Marcus Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zackary Upson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luz Tejedor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Mayo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marcus Deacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Farmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Joaquin Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Marcus Deacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Farmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Marcus Deacon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 76th minute. In the 76th minute, Luz Tejedor fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Marcus Deacon. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Peru's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Mayo's Patrick Robins was substituted for Samuel Farmer. Marcus Deacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 84th minute of play. Mayo's Marcus Deacon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 89th minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Robins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Oliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
