Juvenal Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Duda Peixoto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Róbson Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gugu de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbson Arósio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Juvenal Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's supporters rose to their feet, but Juvenal Corrêa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juvenal Corrêa made a kick off. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Saraiva in the 52nd minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Peixoto in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Edu Saraiva made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Peixoto came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
