With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serginho Chulapa in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 20th minute of play forced Evangel FC's goalkeeper Zackary Sampson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Juan Diego Tenorio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Evangel FC's Johnathon Vargas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 23rdth minute of the game Serginho Chulapa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Juan Diego Tenorio kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match.
