Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Evelio Pes sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Evelio Pes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Evelio Pes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Evelio Pes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Theo Hayles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sportivo Italiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Evelio Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Stephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Cesar Roderigo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Stephen was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 4-1. After 59 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Club Sportivo Italiano players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. When Evelio Pes came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Club Sportivo Italiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Pes couldn't finish the play. Reynaldo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes, Rogelio Claris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Sportivo Italiano and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rogelio Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Pes in the 94th minute of play. When Theo Hayles came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Club Sportivo Italiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Hayles couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Club Sportivo Italiano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
