In the 16thth minute of the game Ximenez Almarza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes Warlocks -CR- got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Paradelo. Warlocks -CR-'s Sergio Armoña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play forced Warlocks -CR-'s goalkeeper Sergio Armoña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Ximenez Almarza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Zadornin Fonoll sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 70th match minute, Warlocks -CR- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zadornin Fonoll to maneuver through the defense. Warlocks -CR-'s Xamo Ontavilla was substituted for Boris Adames. Roman Durana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Armoña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Sergio Armoña made a huge save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Durana in the 85th minute of play. Warlocks -CR-'s Zadornin Fonoll got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Roman Durana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warlocks -CR- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Zadornin Fonoll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Warlocks -CR- were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
