Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. After 40 minutes Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilmi Uyaralp in the 41st minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Mustafa Kemal Selman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mehmet Emrah Sarıdoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play forced Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustafa Kemal Selman to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilmi Uyaralp in the 57th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Hilmi Uyaralp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güneş Süleyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Otomasyon Gençlik F.K..
