With a little luck, Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Gavino Belarmo in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Negroni in the 28th minute of play. Gavino Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 29th minute of play. Gavino Belarmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Camilo Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Metapalo FC's Jacinto Baumar got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roni Arisandy got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Belarmo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Valentin Negroni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Valentin Negroni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Valentin Negroni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Metapalo FC's Valentin Negroni in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Jaszcz in the 83rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Metapalo FC's Valentin Negroni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Gavino Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 96th minute of the match. Although Uruguay had been in control for most of the match, Metapalo FC still came away with the win.
