Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albi Martínez in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, City Friseur Wuppertal's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Xu Yi Lei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xu Yi Lei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xu Yi Lei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xu Yi Lei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Antonio Tenorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albi Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
