The supporters of Mexico booed when Warlocks -CR- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeru Velarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Armoña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Warlocks -CR-'s Leo Oyuelos got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of play forced Warlocks -CR-'s goalkeeper Sergio Armoña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Armoña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 33rd minute of play forced Warlocks -CR-'s goalkeeper Sergio Armoña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Armoña. Sergio Armoña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zadornin Fonoll in the 38th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergio Armoña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sergio Armoña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 55th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximenez Almarza in the 58th minute of the match. Sergio Armoña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 62nd minute of play. Sergio Armoña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Sergio Armoña despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Warlocks -CR-'s goalkeeper Sergio Armoña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Warlocks -CR-'s Sergio Armoña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Warlocks -CR- from getting a goal against them. After 76 minutes Warlocks -CR-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. 77 minutes into the match, Warlocks -CR-'s goalkeeper Sergio Armoña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Sergio Armoña to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Zadornin Fonoll's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Leo Oyuelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sergio Armoña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Armoña was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 94th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Armoña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Warlocks -CR-.
