Psycho-Circus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Talib Temelj came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 邓真义 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 21st minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Talib Temelj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Psycho-Circus's Talib Temelj. But to his dismay, Talib Temelj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 邓真义 came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 邓真义 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Talib Temelj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute Andres Calamaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 邓真义 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 邓真义 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Felix Luque hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio-Paul Caniggia was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 56th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 65th minute of play. 邓真义 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when Psycho-Circus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio-Paul Caniggia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute Claudio-Paul Caniggia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Psycho-Circus's Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal.
