With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Esteves in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Laureano Rego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adalberto Vilhena hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jorge Esteves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. After 34 played minutes CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro França. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Esteves in the 38th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Esteves to make the kick off. Evandro Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. António Brochado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Jorge Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Ramiro França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Jorge Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Jorge Esteves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores. Jorge Esteves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. Paraguay's attentive Alan Campos managed to snatch the ball when Evandro Viana made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Jaime Pardo off the ground. In the 76th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Pardo to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Nores didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's Jorge Esteves shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute.
