After 77 played minutes, Peru's Efraim Gilabert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Artur Boruc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peru reached it. In the 83rd minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Jian Xi in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Carlos Alcaraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Markowy Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Alcaraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artur Boruc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Gallo's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute of the game Aristides Mazuste made a throw-in which Zula Misiewicz played forward. When Peru's Rafael Gallo in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Markowy Team's goalie prevented a goal. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
