The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's goalkeeper António Brochado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Fernandino. Julio Chicote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Brochado having to interfere. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Jorge Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Fontirroig struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. António Brochado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. The crowd rose to their feet as Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of António Brochado. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Jorge Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Jorge Esteves notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's António Brochado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Ferrant in the 34th minute of play. CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's Adalberto Vilhena got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Mario Fernandino got a free kick in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's Evandro Viana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Freixa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Esteves in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Freixa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejandro Villa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After 50 minutes Bolivia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Afonso Nunes who took care of the corner kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Fernandino to make the kick off. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Esteves went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Francisco Gallo got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 61 minutes, Jorge Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bolivia booed when CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bolivia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Laureano Rego scored to the left of an out of position Camilo Freixa, making the score, 1-5. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. Jorge Esteves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Camilo Freixa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 75 minutes into the game, Jorge Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Francisco Gallo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Rego in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS's Afonso Nunes got a free kick in the 88th minute. Alfonso de la Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CANARINHOS DE ALCAINS played a much better game than Bolivia and deserved their victory. The Bolivia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
