Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute Ernani Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. The Paraná Clube PG fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Paraná Clube PG's Roberto Eger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Roberto Eger who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Eger in the 12th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Oswaldo Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Roberto Eger sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube PG's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Oswaldo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Roberto Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Paraná Clube PG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Roberto Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela's Patricio Costa pulled a muscle in his back after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gabriel Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oswaldo Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Roberto Eger sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Eger in the 71st minute of the match.
