Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Manole Tăcutu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ana Ţugui. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ana Ţugui was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Ana Ţugui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ana Ţugui came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Claudiu Bădulescu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abel Carballo in the 18 minute of the game. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Emilian Ţurlău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ana Ţugui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 38th minute of the match. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's attentive Sabin Cândroveanu managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Sabin Cândroveanu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 46th minute of the game. If Sabin Cândroveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Efrain Moruga made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Claudiu Bădulescu. In the 70th minute, one of -BZF- Valea Buzăului:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for -BZF- Valea Buzăului. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ana Ţugui. Ana Ţugui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Jumancă in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ana Ţugui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ana Ţugui came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 95 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga threw the ball into play from the sideline. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Manole Tăcutu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Gelu Jumancă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 98 minutes, Iulian Strungă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Valea Buzăului and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Axel Tasis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Costa Rica were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant -BZF- Valea Buzăului side.
