Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Basarab Savin in the 20 minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Moises Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenny Ugla. PacMan SugarEaters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Kenny Ugla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Moises Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Kenny Ugla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After 39 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, PacMan SugarEaters's Sigvard Blomqvist got a free kick in the 51st minute. When PacMan SugarEaters's Pankracy Ferfecki in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. PacMan SugarEaters's Kenny Ugla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 61st minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PacMan SugarEaters's goalie and right to Christian Sancho. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PacMan SugarEaters's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, PacMan SugarEaters's Pankracy Ferfecki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, PacMan SugarEaters's goalkeeper Kenny Ugla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. A collision led to PacMan SugarEaters getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gösta Uter hit a great ball. Pankracy Ferfecki took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The throw-in from Basarab Savin in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. The supporters of Honduras booed when PacMan SugarEaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Blomqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Brenner in the 86th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kenny Ugla came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmundo Espiga slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 87th minute. Pankracy Ferfecki scored 3-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basarab Savin made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pankracy Ferfecki immediately put the ball in play. Honduras were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing PacMan SugarEaters to leave the ground with a draw.
