Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilmar Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 4th minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Gilmar Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caetano Levandowsky's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Félix Fermosel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Jose Manzanedo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 44 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Gilmar Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Perlaza Lena who took care of the corner kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua was substituted for Caetano Levandowsky. The wind increased when Zayvion Ispuzua made the kick off in the second half. Barcelona de América's Gilmar Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Barcelona de América from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona de América's zone, Orlando Casaus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilmar Quadros came out of the goal and Orlando Casaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the game, Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 60 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Gilmar Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Gilmar Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. With a little luck, Barcelona de América's Gilmar Quadros got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilmar Quadros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 65th minute. Gilmar Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 67th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilmar Quadros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Zayvion Ispuzua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Zayvion Ispuzua scored 3-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barcelona de América's Ronaldinho Gentenaar was substituted for Perlaza Lena. After having played for 76 minutes, Zayvion Ispuzua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zayvion Ispuzua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilmar Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilmar Quadros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Zayvion Ispuzua came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Zayvion Ispuzua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcelona de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Zayvion Ispuzua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Casaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gilmar Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Gilmar Quadros. Barcelona de América's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Many of Chile's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chile may have spent more time on the ball, but Barcelona de América were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
