Ultra Boys's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Walmarsson got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute of the game Emil Löfgren made a throw-in which Bo-Erik Fagrell played forward. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Mats Bruse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ultra Boys's Arne Martinsson got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Åke Walmarsson fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ultra Boys's protests and gave Åke Walmarsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. Adam Blanck struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ultra Boys. Ultra Boys's Mats Bruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Honduras booed when Ultra Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Walmarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mats Bruse was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
