The penalty shot was made by Orçun Kayhan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 1-0. In the 21st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquito Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Silas Beavers booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes Silas Beavers got a freekick which was hit by Fazlı Öge. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orçun Kayhan in the 43rd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orçun Kayhan in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Orçun Kayhan made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Chiquito Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orçun Kayhan hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orçun Kayhan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silas Beavers. Silas Beavers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
