The supporters of Beetje Moe Re-United booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Porreca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. If Ben Wisgerhof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Heck in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Porreca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Porreca in the 60th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Porreca in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute Beetje Moe Re-United were awarded a corner. Marco Hegeman went to the cornerflag to take it. 66 minutes into the match, Arturo Porreca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Porreca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
