The supporters of AFC Viola Gigliati booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romon Oliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garin Candina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Jamaica were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timeteo Surco was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, AFC Viola Gigliati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Horduña to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garin Candina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, AFC Viola Gigliati's goal looked a bit too open when Romon Oliver came free, but Garin Candina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romon Oliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garin Candina having to interfere. Garin Candina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Finlay Stair in the 82nd minute. Jamaica's Finlay Stair shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Garin Candina but with some difficulty. Romon Oliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Garin Candina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Finlay Stair hit a great ball. Jamaica's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
