If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Ingvar Dahlberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ingvar Dahlberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 34th match minute, Rinkeby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Batista to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Rinkeby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Falkrantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Falkrantz. In the 41st minute, Emanuel Falkrantz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 2-1. A sloppy throw-in by Camilo Gisbert in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rinkeby FC's Samuel Eklund. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Dahlberg to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Falkrantz in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Dahlberg in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Corderun Geras made a huge save. Corderun Geras made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Rinkeby FC's goalkeeper Corderun Geras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The throw-in from Camilo Gisbert in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rinkeby FC's Samuel Eklund. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Corderun Geras when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 67th minute of play forced Rinkeby FC's goalkeeper Corderun Geras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Corderun Geras made a huge save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 74th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Corderun Geras firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Corderun Geras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 90th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Camilo Gisbert in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Rinkeby FC's Marcus Säfström. Daniel Zorita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
