Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Oséas Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Nhungarinthians's Ezequiel Nascimento got a free kick in the 6th minute. Mexico's Luca Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. Edmund Kojder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus-Vinícius Franceschelli in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Marcus-Vinícius Franceschelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nhungarinthians fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jefferson Paulista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Nhungarinthians's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Conrado Netto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 29 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ezequiel Nascimento who took care of the corner kick. 31 minutes into the match, Nhungarinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Edmund Kojder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Camargo in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Luca Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Marcus-Vinícius Franceschelli took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 47 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Nhungarinthians's Edmund Kojder. Edmund Kojder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Netto to make the kick off. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Kojder having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Paulista in the 54th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With his leg Edmund Kojder managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Netto in the 78th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Netto in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Ezequiel Nascimento was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Netto in the 95th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nhungarinthians fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
