Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. When Metapalo FC's Valentin Negroni in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Negroni in the 21st minute of play. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Valentin Negroni scored 0-4 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Jacinto Baumar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Jacinto Baumar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Alcocer got free with Gavino Belarmo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Metapalo FC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Metapalo FC's Tytus Jaszcz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lautaro Puig's late challenge caught a Metapalo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Puig helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Valentin Negroni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 37 minutes into the game, Metapalo FC's Tytus Jaszcz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After 41 minutes of play, Metapalo FC's Valentin Negroni made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 45 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Metapalo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. After 47th play minutes Valentin Negroni shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Negroni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Tytus Jaszcz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-10 in the 53 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Valentin Negroni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Valentin Negroni fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benito Sanz, passed just outside the right post. Tytus Jaszcz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tytus Jaszcz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 69 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Negroni in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Valentin Negroni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-15 in the 80 minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tytus Jaszcz went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-16 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Metapalo FC's Arsenio Loramendi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-17 after 93 minutes of play. Metapalo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
